    Last Update From CMS:
Our new dementia unit will be very special, offering an environment that is designed to meet the needs of residents with dementia, not brain injuries, schizophrenia, retardation, etc. Specially trained staff, specially designed activities, a special environment for special people. Meridian is a lovely town nestled in the Texas hills near Clifton. It's near highways 6, 174, and 22. The home is very family-oriented. Many of the staff is related to one or more of the residents and the care show it. The Retirement Center is the least expensive way for any retired person to live, yet it's homey and the food is wonderful. Our specialties are chicken fried steak, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, Mexican food, home-made yeast rolls, peach cobbler, and black forest cake. The Nursing Center is the cleanest nursing home in Texas, with well-trained staff, excellent therapy workers, many activities to choose from, and, yes, wonderful food. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and private pay.
