    Pleasant Manor Nursing & Rehab offers unique amenities such as the option of fine dining, and an option of the meal offered on the menu or a substitute meal. Many residents are able to request what they would like for meals and our dietary department prepares all meals and snacks. Snacks are offered three times a day, a hydration cart is passed three times daily. Pleasant Manor Nursing & Rehab is located in a quiet neighborhood in Ashdown, AR, close to the Ashdown High and Middle Schools. Millwood Lake and Millwood Park is located in Ashdown as well as two golf courses. The twin city of Texarkana is located within 15 miles of Ashdown and offers a shopping mall, fun recreation such as bowling, put-put golf, a movie theater and many restaurants that our activity department takes our residents to on outings monthly. We offer 24 hour nursing services from licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing aides. Our Director of Nursing is available eight hours a day Monday-Friday and we have an RN supervisor that is on duty eight hours a day on the evening shift Monday-Friday. Weekend RN's are available for eight hours on Saturdays and Sundays. We specialize in a variety of conditions and diseases ranging from Alzheimer's and Dementia to Diabetes, COPD, Cancer, Renal Failure, CHF and many others. We have licensed staff that can provide IV maintenace, PEG feedings and care, Colostomy care, F/C care, Wound Care, Diabetic Care, Trach care, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies, Restorative Nursing and specialize in all geriatric care.
