    Staff certifications and training:
    1. We provide skilled nursing and long term care to the geriatric population in our community in a homelike setting. We provide 24 hour nursing care, dietary services, activities, and therapy services. Our staff focus on customer service and treating all residents like a family.


    We have external providers who come into our facility to assist in the care of our residents. The Louisville Wound Clinic provides weekly rounds for wound care, Communicare provides talk therapy sessions, Dr. McKinley provides podiatry services in house, as well as OnHealthcare providing audiology, dental, and vision. Our focus is to provide quality care and make your stay fun. We also work with TACK to provide transportation to and from appointments such as dialysis and other specialty physicians.

    We are contracted with Reliant Rehab to provide physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. They are available 5-6 days a week to work with the short term resident as well as long term to be at their max potential and to be as independent as possible.

    Our activity department fully believes in ensuring our residents feel like they are apart of the community. They participating on multiple outings a month, fundraising, and make the program their own.

    We believe in training for our staff. We are consistently teaching on how to care for our residents the best we know how. Some of this training includes Alzheimer's/dementia training, pain management, end of life care, chronic disease education, and much more. We encourage our staff to continue their educations to become much more than they are. We want and expect top notch staff.

    Financial information - The cost of long term care and rehabilitation can seem like a burden. We do accept Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and private pay as forms of payment for our services. Basic private pay rate for room and board is $222 per day. This includes a room with nightstand, bathroom, closet, over bed table, activities, meals, social worker, and physician visits. Additional charges can occur with medical equipment needs, medications, or specialized services. We can assist with applying for benefits as needed.
