    Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village, located in South St. Louis, provides Rehabilitative, Long-term, and Alzheimer's care. Our Homeward Bound rehab program is a distinct unit offering SSM Rehab therapy services to get you home. Harvest Hall, our secure Alzheimer’s unit, is divided into an early-mid, and a late stage side. Each unit has a nursing leader and social service representative. Four full time activity staff keeps residents active in the facility and in the community. Brothers are onsite daily for any needs, as well as a full time dietician. Feel free to come by for a tour with our golden retriever, Wrigley!

    Eligibility requirements:
    Application must be completed prior to admission for administrator's approval. Admission paperwork must be completed with unit social worker within 3 days of moving into facility.

    We are able to care for most people with Alzheimer's. Reasons for discharge due to medical condition may include the following: Falls, urinary tract infections, stroke, and abnormal lab values. Reasons for discharging due to behavioral changes may include: being harmful to self or others, suicidal thoughts, hitting staff, and change in personality.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Four full time activity staff conduct activities both in facility and out in the community. Monthly support group for caregivers.
