    Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center “Where Caring is an Attitude of the Heart” Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 183-bed Skilled Nursing Facility committed to providing quality care and quality services. We are dually certified for Medicare and Medicaid and also accept private insurance, private pay, Medicare Replacement plans, VA contract, workers compensation, and Hospice care residents. We specialize in Ventilator Management, Short Stay Rehabilitation, Wound Care, as well as Long-Term Skilled Nursing Services. Facility Services Include: 49 bed Sub-Acute Ventilator Unit with Respiratory Therapy Services available 24 hours per day 40 bed Short-Term Specialized Rehabilitation Unit 94 bed Long-Term Skilled Nursing Unit Respite Care available for five days or less Resident Care provided by Medical Director, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants 24 hours per day Licensed/Certified Therapy Professionals on staff providing rehabilitation 7 days a week in the areas of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Music Therapy, and Recreational Therapy. Restorative Nursing Services Wound Care Physician and Certified Wound Care RN on staff Hospice Services available through Alexander, Catawba, and Iredell Counties Full Service Beauty and Barber Shop provided by Licensed Beautician On-site Dental, Podiatry, Pulmonary, Optometry, Nutritional, and Mental Health Services 24 hour Resident and Family Services Wander Guard System 24 hour Security Surveillance On-site Chapel Pharmacy Service Housekeeping and Laundry Tobacco Free Campus Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility is located at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains where residents can enjoy the seasonal changes in a quiet small town atmosphere. We continue to enhance long-term care nursing capabilities, increase treatment opportunities for short-term residents, and update our facility to better accommodate the needs of the growing population.
