    Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Park Ridge, a suburb of northwest Chicago. St. Matthew Center for Health offers a variety of options to meet the health care and social needs of older adults. Our continuum of care, provided in a warm and caring atmosphere, includes short-term care, rehabilitation, specialized Alzheimer's disease/dementia services, hospice care, respite services and community wellness programs. Our dedicated, experienced staff of nurses certified nursing assistants, social workers, therapists and physicians work with patients and their families to develop a safe and effective treatment plan. Our team of professionals never loses sight of the goal of helping residents achieve their highest level of independence.

    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Residents have planned daily activities in the area of current events, remembering, personal care, exercise, games, weekly outings, crafts. They are encouraged to attend activities in other parts of our building, such as parties, chapel, entertainment. Residents see the chaplains regularly as they prefer.
