    Situation in the rolling hills of Northeast Kansas; Sabetha has excellent supportive medical services with five physicians who make daily visits to the facility (Mon. - Fri), as well as numerous specialty clinics from the closest metropolitan area (Topeka) The Aposotlic Chrisitan Home is the only continuing care retirement facility in rural northeast Kansas and has an outstanding physical therapy and rehabilitation department for those recovery from major surgery. The facility is also noted for excellent dietary meals and a very stable and caring nursing staff.

    We've never discharged any resident with Alzheimer's disease despite caring for hundreds of them. The situation would be where they would be doing actual harm to another resident.

    Our facility has inservice programs for staff to deal with Alzheimer's and memory care. We also have support groups for other special needs.
