New Visions of Lifestyle: With two Locations in Charlottesville, VA, RoseWood Village provides a unique opportunity for each member of our community to experience the daily adventures of living in a small town at each of our locations. RoseWood Village features a main street, complete with store fronts, cafés, a town center, an Oriental Tea Room and Out-of- Africa Lounge (Greenbrier), French Quarter (Hollymead), Key West Café and Theater, Health Spa and Fitness Center, Beauty and Barber Shop and outdoor gardens (Greenbrier and Hollymead). All offer comfortable gathering destinations for building relationships with friends and neighbors. The excitement of daily activity, the attachment to neighbors, the comfort of belonging and the joy of contributing personally to the lives of fellow residents is a heritage which is revered by many. RoseWood Village was created to feel like home, and was designed to provide the opportunity for people to make it their home and hometown. Our History: RoseWood Village is owned and operated by Sameer and Virginia Tahboub. Since 1983 they have specialized in long-term care for seniors in Charlottesville, Virginia. Through our history of service to others, we have envisioned new and innovate means of care for the mature adult. While understanding that assisted living was created to provide healthcare and support, we believe that excellent healthcare and personal care services should be provided in an environment which maximizes the potential of each individual, offers enriched social opportunities, education stimulation, whimsy and joy. We are inspired by the belief that no matter our age, we still desire to connect. To learn. To be passionate. To feel joy. To feel truly alive. And to be ourselves. Our values of service to others include the acceptance of each person as unique with the right to have autonomy in every stage of life. We believe in the importance of families working as a team to support each other in realizing personal goals!
