    We are a 57-bed state licensed and CARF Accredited community recognized internationally for quality care solely specializing in caring for people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. We serve people with all levels of dementia including end-of-life care. We are located in a small neighborhood in beautiful Prescott, Arizona. Our Person-Centered Care philosophy makes us unique in the way we care for people. Dementia Care Mapping is used to evaluate resident’s quality of life. Completely fenced, beautiful, National Award-Winning therapeutic gardens provide a peaceful setting in the backyard. Daily activity program meets the needs of people with different levels of memory impairment including daily exercise, music, games, and weekly outings into the community.     Resident becomes disruptive to the general population (verbally and/or physically), requires nursing home type care, a very high falls risk, requires 1:1 care, becomes bed bound, maximum assistance of more than two.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    The Margaret T. Morris Center is solely dedicated to people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss such as Parkinson's, Lewy Bodies, stroke, etc. MTM has a philosophy of Person Centered Care and uses Dementia Care Mapping to prove the effects of Person Centered Care in relationship to the resident’s well-being and quality of life. Residents are accepted with early stage memory loss through moderate stages. Residents may receive end of life care at MTM as long as skilled nursing is not required or any other behavioral complications which may require a higher level of staffing.
