    Northwood Manor was designed to allow for a comfortable, family oriented, home-like environment for elderly individuals who can no longer safely live alone. Our staff are onsite 24 hours a day /7 days a week providing assistance with care, meals, medications and housekeeping. Our care plans are individualized to promote each residents maximum independance. Set in the heart of the North Woods, we offer 6 private bedrooms - each with lavatory and commode. Our common areas include a spacious and sunny living room, a large kitchen where our residents are always welcome, a dining area where family style meals are served, a barrier free shower room, laundry room, and an enclosed sun porch extends the seasonal sitting area. During the warmer weather, we have outdoor seating areas to enjoy the outdoors. We are fortunate enough to have many community members and off duty staff volunteer their time to visit with and engage our residents. We have many different activities (group and individual) to keep our residents minds,bodies and lives active.

    Because we are a 'non-medical' facility, it is not a requirement for our staff to be licensed care providers. They are trained in residential care. All staff are required to be Certified Residential Medication Aides (40 hour training). Staff recieve various inservice training upon hire, and annually.
