I truely believe what makes our facility special is the compassion that I and my staff exibit to each resident( no matter their personality) and their families. I have a policy that if a resident is in distress/ depressed/ or a medical condition has occurred to give that extra TLC. The staff will discontinue their duty and help with that special need.. Our community is a warm and friendly place. When there is a concern that a resident has, it is our obligation to remedy the situation as quickly as possible, i.e. laundry, meals suggestions, etc. We have full time kitchen staff and they take seriousily the desires and suggestions that the resident's have for preparing the meals. We are fortunate to be able to give the extra mile with our residents because of the compassion and desire we have to help each other.
