Founded with pride by two local churches, Southminster is a not-for-profit active adult community with continuing care benefits committed to helping people maintain their lifestyle with dignity, privacy and peace of mind while ministering to their spiritual needs. That is our mission. We hire only dedicated employees who give full attention to residents and their families. In 2008, a major expansion will open 89 new, larger apartments. Also opening is an aquatic center, bistro grill, larger & new amenities areas, and a complete refurbishment of the original campus. Located in south Charlotte, Southminster is a small, 25-acre, lovely community, close to numerous shopping and medical support advantages. We frequent the many museums and performing arts nearby and are minutes from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. We offer guest rooms and meals for visitors interested in residency. Great reputation for quality care.
