Sutton Grove Retirement Community is located in the heart of Mt. Washington on the east side of town. Sutton Grove is a small facility with 75 apartments. We are like a small family, therefore all the employees and residents who live here know one another by their first name. This is important because we can watch out for all of the seniors who live here and let the families know if we see a problem with their loved one. Sutton Grove is an independent facility, however, we do have a health care company here to provide services such as medicine reminders, bathing, dressing, laundry services, changing of the bed linens, extensive cleaning, etc. Sutton Grove has plenty of garden areas that can be tended to by the residents. Sutton Grove provides two meals a day, lunch and dinner in our lovely dining rooms. We can deliver a tray to the senior in their apartment but we do prefer them to come to the dining room so that they can socialize with the other seniors who live at Sutton Grove. We have many activities to choose from. We encourage the seniors to come out and participate. We have our transportation through the metro which is at the corner of our street. The Anderson Senior Center provides transportation to doctor appointments and the grocery. They are just a telephone call away.
