    About My Business
    The Elms has provided it's residents with affordable elegance in assisted living since 1985. We are privately owned not corporately owned which means our residents receive more services for less money without compromising the quality of those services. There is no buy-in and no lease required.Personal care services are provided on an ala-carte basis which means residents are only paying for services they are receiving.
    About My Services
    All residents receive 3 gourmet meals a day plus snacks whenever they'd like. We also provide all of our residents with complimentary laundry, housekeeping and transportation to appointments and shopping. Personal care services like medication administration, bathing assist and dressing assist are available at the residents request at an additional cost. Our full time activities director insures that our residents enjoy a wide variety of activities in and out of the community. Bridge clubs, Fall foliage cruises, live entertainment and more.
    Conditions I Am Unable To Treat
    We are not permitted to provide "Skilled" or Nursing home level care to our residents.
    Experience And Credentials
    Our Administrator is Certified by The State of Rhode Island Department of Health. He is in his 15th. year here and he is also a Master Trainer of Alzheimer's care. He has been recognized nationally by The Assisted Living Federation of America as a "Champion for Seniors" in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
    The Nurse manager of our dedicated Alzheimer's communities is also a Master Trainer of Alzheimer's care and is recognized as a leader in the dementia care community.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
    Our Assisted Living fees begin at $3395 per month. There is no buy-in and there is no lease. A one month refundable security is required that is equal to one months rent and there is a one time Community Fee of $2300 due prior to move in. We are a private pay community and we accept Veterans Aide and Attendance as well as Long Term Care Insurance. We do not accept Medicaid.

    Services are provided around the clock. Personal care services are provided in the morning and in the evening prior to bed time seven days a week.
