    We are a five bedroom four bathroom 2,800 square foot home that provides care for seniors with memory impairments. Staff is specially trained to work Alzheimer’s and dementia residents. We house only three residents with private bedrooms. We focus on person centered care and allowing the resident to continue living with staff supervision. We are located on the Brethren Care Village Campus.

    Staff certifications and training:
    All staff are universal workers- all staff are first aid certified. All staff are required ten hours of on going training a year which is provided by the facility. The facility also provides continuing education for Alzheimer’s/ dementia, the staff manager has the same credentials as above except is required twelve hours of on going training.

    The entire facility is dedicated to the care of Alzheimer's and Dementia sufferers.

    Diminished abilities or stage of disease that would result in a transfer or discharge:
    Mental, emotional, or physical care for a resident is at a level of care we are unable to provide. Discharge potential would be non ambulatory, more assistance needed than what one staff person is able to give. Residents progressing past the 5th stage of Alzheimer’s.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    The entire house is based on providing special care for residents for Alzheimer’s/ dementia. Allowing them to maintain working around the home with 24 hour supervision.
