Located in an area rich in tradition and history, Elmcroft of Martinez is also surrounded by a modern and growing community. Martinez is a vibrant suburb of Augusta, offering modern conveniences and amenities. Augusta itself is Georgia's second-oldest city, founded in 1736 along the banks of the Savannah River as an Indian trading post. Augusta became a winter resort in the late nineteenth and twentieth century’s and is home to America's most prestigious golf tournament, The Masters. Every spring, the world's best golfers compete for the coveted green jacket at the Augusta National Golf Club, just 4 1/2 miles from Elmcroft of Martinez. Elmcroft also has easy access to some of the largest and most sophisticated medical facilities in Georgia. University Hospital and Medical College of Georgia are just an eight-mile drive down Riverwatch Parkway.

The Elmcroft way of caring for seniors begins with committed, caring people in a warm and welcoming environment where residents receive personalized services and opportunities for meaningful interaction and recreation. The residents of Elmcroft delight in a full schedule of enriching social activities, highlighted by three nutritionally balanced meals each day. With the comfort of trained staff on hand 24 hours a day, residents can relax and enjoy their greatest level of independence. Elmcroft takes pride in its associates, carefully selecting only those who demonstrate a generous heart, a warm spirit and genuine compassion for others. Our associates create a special bond with the people they serve - making everyone feel like they're a part of the Elmcroft family. While many places can assist with the activities of daily living, Elmcroft reaches beyond these everyday needs and strives to enrich the unique life of each resident. The Elmcroft way nourishes the mind, body and spirit. Drawing on our years of dedicated service to seniors and leadership in operating assisted living communities, Elmcroft's goal is to provide an inviting place for residents to enjoy their friends, their families and their independence.
