    Choices for senior living, holistic, therapeutic, not-for-profit, faith based, dementia trained staff. Serving Wausau,Wittenberg and the surrounding communities. In existence since 1882 on the Wittenberg Campus and 1990 on the Wausau campus. Our services include a broad array of independent and supportive housing options, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Memory Care offered in our Skilled Nursing, CBRF, RCAC and Adult Day Center.

Memory Care Options: Adult Day Center (Wausau Campus) Skilled Nursing (Wittenberg campus) CBRF (both campuses).Key offerings include dementia trained staff, Music & Memory Program, Snoezelen Multisensory Products, essential oils, physical, occupational and speech therapy, activities, private and semi private rooms, pet therapy, bird aviary and more!

    The Wellness Center in Wittenberg provides rehabilitation services for outpatient services on the campus. For those needing inpatient rehab our Skilled Nursing unit accommodates patients with a private room and is located in its own space on the campus.

    Both Campuses provide memory care specific living. Stone Crest Residence on the Wausau Campus and Sunburst CBRF and Floor B on the skilled Nursing floor on, the Wittenberg Campus. The Wittenberg Campus offers innovative care including a Multi-Sensory approach, essential oils and many other dementia specific interventions to improve the wellbeing of residents.

    The Wausau Campus at Forest Park Village offers The Gardens an RCAC (Residential Care Apartment Complex) is one of only a few certified RCAC’s in Wisconsin. The apartments surround a spectacular, three floor atrium. The Gardens does take residents having physical restrictions, including those with catheters and colostomies, as well as those with early signs of dementia. Also available is Independent Living Plus in Forest Park Village (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital). This is for seniors age 62 and over who wish to continue living independently in a nonmedical setting, but wish to have options for daily, weekly and month cares.
