The Arbors of Bedford, located in rural Bedford NH, yet with easy access just off major roadways, is the largest assisted living facility in NH that specializes in Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia care. We are the only facility in NH that is secured and provides 24 hour nursing care to all residents. Our staff is specially trained to offer assistance yet promote independence, while we support and encourage each individual’s unique personalities, skills, and emotional well-being. The Arbors was designed using the "Neighborhood concept" utilizing a strong community model to maintain social, cognitive and verbal skills while allowing for individual personal choice. At The Arbors, we remove the typical daily responsibilities such as housekeeping, meal preparation, managing MD appointments and medications, so our residents can enjoy daily exercise groups, entertainers, social events, outings, games and activities, visits from family or a quiet stroll in our gated courtyards. The Arbors provides a continuum of care from early to late stage diagnosis. We provide care to individuals with all forms of dementia including (but not exclusive to) Parkinson's disease, post stroke, frontotemporal lobe dementia, and Alzheimer's.
