    VFMC sits on a beautiful rural setting which includes 125 acres. VFMC has a full time physician, social worker and dietician and a full time laboratory and x ray departments as well as a full time beautician. VFMC has a part time occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech therapist and a part time psychiatrist. VFMC is the only facility in Louisiana for treating patients with resistant tuberculosis.

    VFMC has an admissions review committee which reviews all available patient documentation before approving admission.
