With a maximum capacity of six (6) Residents, and a 24/7 monitoring, this "home like" environment provides a HIGH RATIO of Staff to Residents. Our Seniors get immediate time and attention and considerate care they deserve. A wide variety of ammenities and activities are provided for our Senior's comfort and enjoyment: Patio with garden ---For residents who love to tend the garden; outside dining, outside entertainment, or just simply relaxation Social Activities such as Arts & Crafts, Games, Tactile Exercises, Entertainment –Activities are TAILORED to Resident’s needs. These activities better or maintain brain stimulation and add therapeutic healing. We celebrate birthdays and Legal Holidays as get togethers with friends and families. Singing Engagements, Karaoke & Bingo Nights, Pet Programs, Picnics & other Outside Activities. Daily Exercise Program, Range of Motion Exercises - Daily Calisthenics, Walking & Massages are good for blood circulation, bone flexibility, improves mood, and physical well being of Resident. Range of Meal Options and Special Diet Available --from Vegetarians, Ethnic Cuisine, Low Sodium, to Low Sugar for Diabetic Residents Accessibility -- Easy access to hospitals and doctor's offices, namely Torrance Memorial Hospital in Torrance & Little Company of Mary. Whether the need is for short term or long-term comfort care of a Skilled Nursing Facility / Board & Care Facility, from Dementia, Parkinson's or Alzheimer's care, Rehabilitation after an accident, Injury or Illness, Recovering from surgery, Hip Replacement, Bedridden, Stroke, Depressed, Non-Ambulatory, to Hospice care ... our trained caregivers provide support and understanding.     Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Activities are tailored to their condition. By modifying their environment increases safety and comfort. Decreasing agitation by providing a calm and clean facility/home. Making complex tasks, such as dressing or feeding, into simpler steps. Reducing the amount of activity in the environment to avoid confusion and agitation. Pleasurable activities, such as crafts, games, and music, are provided at the facility which provides therapeutic stimulation. Periodical massages and blood circulation massages improves mood and gives relaxation. Removing or locking up hazardous items such as sharp knives, dangerous chemicals, and tools. Child-proof latches are on all our kitchen cabinets and Dutch doors are also used. For wanderers, our exit and entrances trigger sounds when opened which alerts the caregivers.
