    The Memory Center is located in a quiet neighborhood setting. Rooms are large (255-285 square feet), and residents gather at the impressive Town Center, with an iconic brick light house and "old town" structures such as a general store, library, dance hall, and "tavern". Staff is particularly trained in Alzheimer's and dementia care, and awake staff is available 24 hours/day. Activities are planned to include evenings and weekends. Special consideration given to nutrition, and the Mediterranean diet will be available.

    The Memory Center has a Town Center consisting of a library, place of worship, bank, general store/post office, dance hall/movie theater, beauty salon/barber shop, Tavern, hotdog/ice cream stand, snoezelen multi-sensory room. The goal of The Memory Center is not to cure, but to treat dementia/Alzheimer's with stimulation available 24 hours /day.
