    Staff certifications and training:
    Upon hire, staff receive a minimum of 30 hours of training (usually more between 40-60 hours of training) including VA, OSHA, first aid, CPR, food safety, medication admin, and Alzheimer's/dementia training to name a few. Staff are certified HHA's, some training is recertified yearly including VA, OSHA, Rule 40, Medication admin, CPR, and First aid. Staff also attend monthly staff meetings led by a supervisor.

    We offer a memory care program that includes: door alarms, door locks, motion sensor lighting, staff 24 hours a day, flooring and wall colors chosen with memory care needs in mind, safety support system, live-in supervisor and RN on-call 24 hours a day, staff trained in dementia/Alzheimer's.

    There are many churches, parks, and golf courses nearby the home. It is also minutes from Rosedale mall. Staff will assist residents in participating in the activities that interest them. We will involve non-denominational church and community groups in the home activities.
