Northland Village – now in McGregor, Minnesota and coming soon to Buhl, Minnesota – is a place where residents are valued as individuals and enjoy excellent personal and medical care, healthy social interaction, and comfortable, home-like surroundings.

    Staff certifications and training:
    Staff recieves training at time of hire 8 hour per state assisted living requirements. At time of hire staff also recieves a 4 hour inservice on memory care. We use the M.I.N.D. module coordinated by Cindy Keith RN, BS, Certified Dementia Practioner. One-hour inservices are reuired monthly for a total of 12 in-services a year. The in-service module used is "In the Know".

    Weekly bible study group meets with a pastor. Bingo night every week. Lawrence Welk night on Saturday nights. Popcorn and a movie on Sunday afternoons. Daily activities, card games, crafts, etc. Daily exercise program. Community supper every month. Facility open house every season. Spring Fling event for residents, staff and their families. Make a friend day with the DAC weekly. Weekly or bi-weekly shoppiong trips to nearby towns. Annual fishing trip in the summer.
