The Property: Berkshire Elder Care (RCFE) is located in an safe, peaceful and established Thousand Oaks community. Within minutes of the Thousand Oaks Library, Goebel Senior Adult Center & Los Robles Hospital the property is centrally located and easily accessible to all the main attractions in Thousand Oaks. Berkshire Elder Care sits on a large piece of land with a spacious and open floor design allowing for easy access and enjoyment for all residents. The Administrators and Staff: We have a loving, caring and dedicated staff who have over 50 years of cumulative experience in home health services. Our administrator/owner Aileen Valentino, R.N. has been in home health services for the last 20+ years. She has established herself in the Thousand Oaks health community with her drive and passion for working with the elderly. ‘Caring for your family like our own’ is not just a motto – it’s a way of life here at Berkshire. From the administrators, caregivers, and residents alike – all are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. These are the qualities and characteristics that flourish here at Berkshire Elder Care. Why Berkshire Elder Care? Loving families want the best for their members; which is why most people shop-around for a home / care facility before they make any quick decisions. Since this is one of the most important decisions you’ll make, we wanted to make it a bit easier on you. Most residential care websites sound alike – everyone promotes “the best staff”, “the nicest property", and “the best food”. But more often than not, upon visitation, you and your family see something completely different. We are very confident that you will be impressed and pleased with our entire operation – from the fresh aroma’s coming out of the kitchen to the warm greetings you’ll receive from our staff, regular volunteers and guests. Berkshire Elder Care truly promotes health, happiness and independence by providing all of its guests with a safe, comfortable, clean and peaceful environment to live in. The proof as they say, “is in the pudding’ – strong community ties and lasting relationships quickly made Berkshire Elder Care a highly desired facility in the Thousand Oaks area before the doors even opened. Limited space is available; contact us today to reserve your loved one a private or semi-private room at one of the finest care facilities in Ventura County.
