    About My Services
    Aspirus VNA Home Health Care: Short-term care, RN's provide skilled care (catheter care,cardiac care, medical/surgical, medication mgmt), Therapists - physicial, occupational, and speech, home health aides.
    Advantages of Home Care: Decreased ED visits, decreased hospital addmissions/readmissions, decrease in clinic calls, improve, manage & stablize condition.
    Home Infusion therapy.
    All services may be covered by insurance. Medicare will not cover routine blood draws unless the patient has another skilled need. Referrals can be made 24/7.

    Aspirus Supportive Care Services is ideal for patients home from surgery or other medical procedures where they would come home and do too much, too soon. Services Offered: bathing, laundry, wash/set/style hair, massage therapy, accompany on trips or appointments, meal planning & prep, housekeeping, companionship & Respite care, medication reminders, travel companion, cosmetology.

    Palliative Care is to control pain, manage symptoms and maximize quality of life. Palliative care may be provided at any time during a patient's illness and given at the same time as curative treatment. Aspirus Wausau Hospital has an inpatient Palliative Care Unit.

    Aspirus Hospice Services provides and ensures meaningful and compassionate end-of-life care. Hospice care can be given at the patient's home, hospital, or living facility. Hospice focuses on pain and symptom control. Services related to terminal illness may include: MD & Nursing services, medical equipment/suppplies, physical/occupational/speech therapies, social work, music therapy, massage therapy,spiritual care, Short-term respite care.

    Hospice House: 8 private bedrooms, $200/day, All hospice services

    Bereavement services continue for 13 months after the patient has passed away.

    Aspirus Home Medical Equipment is a regional provider of home medical equipment. Certified, experienced and licensed staff deliver and set-up and repair equipment.
    Rehab: standard & complex power wheelchairs & seating systems, Ultra lightweight manual wheelchairs, pressure mgmt/skin protection, pediatric equipment, bariatric equipment.
    Respiratory: Nebulizers, oxygen, sleep therapy (CPAP,BiPAP), apnea monitors, phototherapy units.
    Home Medical Equipment: Hospital beds, wheelchairs, lift chairs, ambulatory aides-walkers, canes, crutches, bath aides: commodes, bath benches, transfer benches, rails.
    Supplies: Wound care, ostomy, urologicals, compression stockings
    24 hour availablity for emergencies and hospital discharge.
