    About My Business
Since 1985, Regional Hospice and Home Care has been providing caring end-of-life services to our community. We have successfully helped thousands of patients live out their remaining days in the comfort of their own home or nursing care facility
with peace and dignity and have supported their families emotionally and spiritually.

Additionally, after years of careful consideration and planning, we have built the state’s first and only state-of-the-art private suite hospice center – our Center for Comfort Care & Healing in CT.

We are proud of our decades-long reputation for superior in-home hospice care and are now honored to be able to welcome you into our home as well.
    About My Services
Regional Hospice and Home Care Center for Comfort Care & Healing has exceptional services (at your convenience) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Physicians, registered nurses, social workers and chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers follow customized individual care plans designed to meet each patient’s needs for pain management and symptom control and special services such as speech, physical and occupational therapy.

    Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Symptom and pain management that allow end-of-life patients to achieve new goals and improve the quality of life.

    Comfort Versus Curative
Consider hospice when there is a terminal prognosis of six months or less, (a disease that has run its normal course) or if a child is suffering from a life limiting illness.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone may request hospice care. A patient may be referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency and will be admitted under a physician’s direction.

    Hospice is Affordable
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances.

    Your Choice of Hospice Care
    In Our Warm, Comfortable Home
Not a single detail has been overlooked in building our Center for Comfort Care & Healing. Here you’ll find 24/7 care including emotional, spiritual and family support.

Twelve private suites, each with their own balcony, can accommodate family sleepovers. The Center also has a professional chef, spa and salon services, a chapel, child and teen rooms, beautifully landscaped grounds, gardens and a play ground.

    Palliative Care
Our Hospice Program’s interdisciplinary team provides professional clinical expertise with the compassion and dignity our patients and their families hope for and deserve.

Palliative Home Care, for those with serious or advanced illness, integrates expert pain and symptom management, sometimes in conjunction with curative treatment. It works in collaboration with a physician to pursue specialized treatments especially when symptoms are difficult to control.

In either case, Regional Hospice and Home Care come to you, wherever you reside – your home, assisted living facility or a skilled nursing facility.

    Care for Our Littlest Patients
Perinatal Hospice Care meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of families whose infants have been diagnosed with a terminal condition. We are there throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, life and remembrance.

We also offer an Infant Loss Support Group through our Healing Hearts program – a safe space to grieve losses.

Healing Hearts Center for Grief and Loss
Bereavement support and counseling are core services we provide to families and significant others as long as they need the care.
