    Conditions I Am Unable To Treat
    Home Instead CAREGivers can provide non-medical service including assistance with activities of daily living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, respite care, personal care services, home helper services, companionship services and incidental transportation.  Home Instead Senior Care offices generally refer clients with needs beyond those services to trusted partners in the health care industry to provide supplemental and transitional services.

    Home Instead, Inc. demonstrates commitment to quality care through our proprietary PEAQ program (Pursuing Excellence by Advancing Quality). We commissioned J.D. Power and Associates to routinely survey CAREGivers and clients to ensure consistent delivery of high quality service.

    Name of Alzheimer's/Dementia training
    Home Instead, Inc. created a training program called Alzheimer’s Disease or Other Dementias CARE: Changing Aging Through Research and Education® (CARE). This unique program enables us to equip our CAREGivers to deliver distinctive care based on research and the senior’s life experiences. Rather than focusing on the diagnosis and symptoms of the disease, this CARE program primarily focuses on the care and dignity of the person with dementia.
    This relationship-centered approach allows our CAREGivers to provide individualized care that:
    • Helps your loved one remain safe and calm at home
    • Encourages engagement
    • Provides nutritious meals
    • Creates social interaction
    • Provides mind-stimulating activities
    • Helps minimize changing behavioral and cognitive symptoms
