    Experience And Credentials
Hello, my name is Adaria Duarte. I have lived in Parsippany / Morris County / Northern Jersey for the past twenty years. I opened Home Helpers in 2007, providing Senior Care, assistance for new Moms and working parents, and recuperative care and/or continuing care services to our community.

I consider myself to be very different from many of the other Home Health Care Agencies. Many of the people I have met in this field come from some type of medical background, social care work or have been someone that has watched a loved one that needed this kind of service. At one time, I was the person in need of care from another person. I spent a few years depending on other people to care for me while I was recuperating from illness. I feel that this gives me a different perspective from so many of the other agencies that are out there.

Being in the position that so many people find themselves having to deal with makes everyones situation so real to me. The fear, anxiety and apprehension are all something I have experienced and hopefully with my own personal experience, I will be able to help make your personal situation easier for you and your loved ones.

I have spent a great deal of time finding just the right people to work with us. We do not consider ourselves an agency; rather we consider ourselves to be a family. When choosing a nurse, home health aide, companion or caregiver, I have found myself to always be looking for the person I would want to be taking care of me or my loved ones. Each caregiver is specifically chosen to the meet the needs and personality's of each client. I believe in caring for each of my clients as if they were my family, and rest assured you and your loved ones will receive excellent care and companionship with Home Helpers.

Please give us a call today and let us make your life easier! We will work with you and your loved ones to find what options will work best for you.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
Home Helpers is primarily private pay, however, we work with various long term care insurance companies and other insurance carriers to provide the best financial solutions for care arrangements for our clients and their families.

While our rates vary based on each individual case and the specific needs of the client, and can only accurately be determined after a thorough, free in-home consultation and assessment are conducted, the basic fee outline is as follows:

    - Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour (most clients fall within the $20.00-$23.00 per hour range; only extreme cases or in situation in which more than one person is being cared for, or more than one caregiver is required would a rate go beyond $23.00 per hour)

    - Live-In Rate: $200.00-$225.00 per day (this is the average live-in rate and only varies if the case is deemed very difficult or stressful in which the caregiver is unable to receive downtime or adequate sleep)
