    About My Business
    Our services at BrightStar range from occasional companion care, to hands on personal care assistance from 1 hour/day to 24/7 in home care and skilled nursing services. Our services are available to clients as young as newborns all the way up to seniors. Our team has specialized experience with individuals inflicted with the following disease states: Alzheimers/Dementia, ALS, Parkinsons, MS and more. We are a Joint Commissions accredited home care agency (Nationally recognized) as well as accredited with local Better Business Bureau.     About My Services
    Our Companionship services include:
    •Adult and elderly home companion visits
    •Assist with writing letters and correspondence
    •Help to connect with loved ones through e-mail and social media
    •Expectant and new mother support
    •Engage in stimulating activities such as art projects and reading
    •Schedule assistance
    •Respite and family relief
    •Sitter services

    Our Personal Care services include:
    •Bath visits
    •Dressing and grooming
    •Expertise with memory loss, confusion, forgetfulness
    •Personal safety home evaluation
    •Outpatient pre and post-op assistance

    •Reporting conditions and changes to supervisory RN and/or Physician

    Our Skilled Care services include:
    •Blood sugar testing

    •In-home blood draws and injections
    •Medication setup, administration and oversight
    •Occupation, speech and physical therapy in the home

    Experience And Credentials
    We are licensed through the North Carolina Heath Services Regulation department, nationally accredited with Joint Commission which most of our competitors are not. We are also accredited through the Better Business Bureau for quality care and service. Our agency director has over 20 years of senior living experience and our director of nursing has experience in hospital (neuro/stroke), home health and skilled nursing environments. Together we provide our clients a wide level of expertise with the aged population.

    Private Pay, NC Medicaid Waiver Programs (PCS, CAP DA/C and PDN), long term care insurance, VA Benefits Aid and Attendance program, and select health insurance plans (call for more information).
