    Experience And Credentials
For Rhonda Childs, nursing is her passion. She graduated from Piedmont Technical College in 1984 with high honors in the Licensed Practical Nursing program. Most of her career has been spent in oncology and geriatrics. Childs also benefits from having the perspective of a caregiver who has dedicated years tending to an aging mother and ailing husband.

Childs took a refresher course in 2004 at Greenville Technical College and went back to work at Wesley Commons Health Care Center in Greenwood. After being there three months, she was promoted to first floor nurse manager and remained a supervisor for two years. In 2006, Childs became center director for Active Day of Greer.

Childs considers her clients to be an extended family. She is actively involved with the Senior Network of Greenville and Spartanburg, and she is a team captain for the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. Childs is also a member of the Soldier's Angels, an organization that raises money and sends care packages to the troops overseas. She is active with the youth of her church and has also served on the WMU outreach program.
