    About My Business
    • STARS has been providing Adult Day Care in the community for 27 years.
    • STARS stands for Services To At-Risk Seniors
    • We are an alternative to institutional care
    • We are a community based program serving the senior population that have been affected by Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Heart Attack, Heart Disease and Vision impairment.
    • STARS also provides services to those that are 18 and over that have a permanent disability such as Traumatic Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome and mental health issues.
    • Caregiver respite is our specialty.

    • Unable to accept clients that display

    Combative behavior
    Uncontrolled wandering
    Unmanageable incontinence
    Too frail or medically needy to participate in the regular activities of the program
    Experience And Credentials
    STARS is a member of the Washington Adult Day Services Association, Alzheimer's Association, Senior Action Network, Thurston and Mason County providers group.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
    • The cost is $12 per hour
    • Drop-in rate is $15 per hour with 24 hour notice
    • Sliding scale fee for low-income seniors
    • Scholarships are available and determined on an individual basis and are based on need and subject to availability.
    • We accept individuals that are receiving services from Behavioral Health Resources, Department of Developmental Disabilities and COPES
    • We also accept long term care insurance

    • Olympia STARS also offers extended hours from 8:30am-4:30pm M-F
    • Lacey STARS is open M,T,TH,F 9am-2pm
    • Shelton STARS is open M & Th 9am-2pm
    • Closed on all national holidays
