    About My Business
    Southwestern Commission is the Designated Area Agency for the PSA covering the seven southwestern Counties of North Carolina including the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians. The AAA provides funding for services to community service providers in the counties for Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Adult Day Care, Adult Day Health, In-Home Aide Services ( Levels I and II, Senior Center Operations, Transportation, Housing and Home Repair and Information and Assistance.

    The AAA also provides Legal Services ( basic wills and emergency Powers of Attorney) Respite Services, Health Promotion ( including Chronic Disease Self Management, Diabetes Self Management and Matter of Balance ) Family Caregiver Support Services and Long Term Care Ombudsman Services. Senior Medicare Patrol and SHIIP services are also provided.
