    LINDA J. ROBINSON, ESQ., received her B.A. from Douglass College and received her J.D., with honors, from Rutgers Law School- Newark. Her law practice is concentrated on matters pertaining to people with disabilities and seniors, such as estate planning and special needs trusts, special education due process hearings, guardianship and alternatives to guardianship, Social Security Disability, SSI and Medicaid appeals, obtaining services for adults with disabilities, planning for future care.
    Ms. Robinson has advocated for people with disabilities and their families for more than twenty years. Prior to entering private practice she served as Assistant Deputy Public Advocate with the New Jersey Division of Advocacy for the Developmentally Disabled, and as an attorney with the Community Health Law Project. Ms. Robinson has represented disabled people in obtaining services and benefits from state, local and federal agencies. She litigated the leading New Jersey case on guardianship. Ms. Robinson has authored legal guides to social security law and disability entitlement programs and articles on special education rights and obtaining services from the N.J. Division of Developmental Disabilities. She lectures frequently on legal issues of concern to disabled and elderly people. Ms. Robinson is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Elder and Disability Law Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section; and the New Jersey Special Education Attorneys’ Roundtable.
