    About My Business
    Professional Geriatric Nurse Care Managers assist seniors and their families with a comprehensive knowledge of medical issues and social service resources in the community. They personally accompany seniors at medical appointments and help families deal with complex medical issues or cognitive issues such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

    Advocare’s Advocacy and Care Management services are especially helpful when family lives at a distance.

    Affordable Care Monitoring Programs are available starting at $10/day. Services can be scaled and crafted to meet specific client and family needs. Field Care Managers work from local home offices in each area to reduce travel time and distance and minimize cost to clients.

    Advocare Elder Care advocacy services include:
    1. Assessing medical, safety, and social status and crafting a care plan
    2. Avoiding ER crisis via complete care coordination and medication management
    3. RN accompaniment to physicians with accurate updates to family
    4. Selection, training and oversight of in-home caregivers

    7. 24/7 RN crisis intervention in the event of an ER admission

    Services are customized for each client and begin with a complementary telephonic intake session followed by a comprehensive in-home assessment and a report with recommendations.

    Advocare was founded in 2001 by Amy Seigel, a Registered Nurse and a Certified Case Manager. Ms. Seigel was voted South Case Manager of the Year by the South Florida Case Management Association in 2010. Advocare’s team of professional Nurse Care Managers combine strong medical and psycho-social skills to advocate for elder clients and advise their families.

    Advocare integrates 24/7 care monitoring and medication monitoring technology with the professional oversight of a care advocate to create a safety net for independent living.

    How do your Florida Geriatric Care Services Work?

    Step One: We need to understand your situation. Every potential client will have the opportunity to speak with one of our Directors. During this initial conversation, we will spend the time necessary to understand your situation, identify areas of concern, and help define appropriate services to meet your needs.

    Step Two: After we determine that is able to assist you, you will receive a new client packet that succinctly explains our geriatric care programs and services, as well as our fees.

    Step Three: When this packet is completed and returned to , we assign a Geriatric Care Manager who will become your family's primary point of contact.
