    About My Business
    Georgetown Living started with the notion of creating a truly unique assisted living experience specifically tailored for those with Alzheimer’s Disease. A continual theme of unique and personal care is carried throughout each facet of our residences in Georgetown, including creating peace of mind for the families of our residents. Our beautiful communities represent the state of the art of evidence-based building design. Georgetown Living prides itself in being family owned and operated.

    We provide unparalleled assisted living. We assist with all activities of daily living such as:

    Experience And Credentials
    Our co-founder and Director (Char Hu), obtained his Ph.D from Baylor College of Medicine in Molecular Biophysics. His doctoral thesis focused on determining the basic biophysical causes for diseases such as Alzheimer's. He has developed Georgetown Living's unique method for Alzheimer's care and has begun educating facilities around the state on this approach. He serves as the National Delegate for the the Austin-area chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

    DeeDee Hu, PharmD is a Board Member for the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She is a staff member at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center, Houston, Texas. Her role at Georgetown Living is to carry out monthly audits of all residents' medications to ensure proper dosing and compatibility.

    Bee Bartell, PharmD currently is at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital as the Clinical Coordinator for Critical Care/Nutrition Support for the Department of Pharmacy. Her role at Georgetown Living is to carry out monthly audits of all residents' medications to ensure proper dosing and compatibility.
