    About My Business
    JFS offers programs and services to individuals and families to assist them in keeping their loved one at home These services include:
    Care Planning
    Care Management
    Respite support
    Music and Memory
    Information and Referral

    JFS staff will also work with a family on transition services if their family member can no longer be cared for at home and will need assistance to find the most appropriate facility.
    About My Services
    Counseling- offered on a sliding fee scale and provided by highly qualified licensed professionals.We help individuals with issues such as depression, anxiety, family communication and problem solving.

    Care Planning- staff will meet with family members/caregivers, facilitate the decision-making process and and work with them to create a plan of care for their loved one that may include additional outside support service as well as family support.

    Care Management - staff will work with family to determine needs and help to insure that those needs are met.Coordination of care and follow-up can be provided.

    Respite Support - JFS has trained volunteers and a small fund that can help families in need of respite service.

    Music and Memory - this program is specifically designed for those coping with cognitive decline or chronic illness. It provides a IPod with a personal playlist of music and headphones to the individual. This program,as seen in the documentary film " Alive Inside" has been shown to help with anxiety, pain reduction as well as calming individuals.

    Information and referral services can help families connect with the services and programs to meet the needs of their care recipient.
    Conditions I Am Unable To Treat
    JFS does not have a staff psychiatrist so therefore we cannot prescribe or manage medication. We have referrals if this is necessary.

    JFS also refers out for home health, hospice and personal care services to agencies we know of and have met with. If they choose, families are given at least three referrals to investigate

    Jewish Family Service serves the entire community - we are a non-denominational organization meeting the needs of families regardless of religion, ethnicity or ability to pay. JFS has been meeting the needs of older adults and their families for many years. The staff of licensed professionals are committed to helping you keep your loved one at home or find the most appropriate facility to meet your needs. We offer caregivers and families a comprehensive assessment and work together with them to achieve the best possible outcomes.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
    Jewish Family Service offers most programs and services on a sliding fee scale. We do accept Medicare and Medicaid as well as select third party insurers.

    9 am-5 pm and evening hours by appointment.
