    About My Business
    Since 1983 Lifespan has provided comprehensive home care and professional geriatric care management services to older adults in need of assistance. A leader in elder care services, we were one of the very first organizations to provide such specialized care on the West Coast.
    Lifespan’s mission is to maximize the health, safety, comfort and independence of older persons in our community by providing home and facility care, geriatric care management, comprehensive assessment, placement assistance, elder care consultation and telephone reassurance.
    About My Services
    Lifespan is a multi-service agency dedicated to providing health, social, and non-medical services for adults and the eldery in need of assistance:
    Home Care-
    Home Care Aides help with personal
    hygiene, meal preparation, errands
    and light housekeeping. Schedules
    are tailored to meet your loved
    one’s changing needs from 3 to 24
    hours a day.
    Geriatric Care Management-
    Regular visits by a nurse or social
    worker to asses and solve problems,
    and plan and manage care.
    Complete Assessment-
    A comprehensive evaluation of a
    person’s safety, functional abilities,health problems, resources and mental status, resulting in
    recommendations and a plan of care.
    Friendly Visiting-
    Visits by Assistant Care Managers at
    home or in a facility to meet
    personal, social and advocacy
    Conditions I Am Unable To Treat
    Lifespan is a non-medical home care agency, providing services within the perameters set forth by California. California does not offer certification or licensing for non-medical home care.
    Experience And Credentials
    Lifespan is locally owned by the Registered Nurses who founded it. We are honored to have received recognition by state and local agencies for our leadership in the field of aging, and for our reputable services to the Santa Cruz community. All of our home care aides are bonded, insured, trained and supervised by Lifespan Care Managers. We ensure quality and satisfaction through professional supervision. Unique to our agency, Lifespan Care Managers are experienced RN's and Social Workers knowledgeable in the field of health care and aging. Our Lifespan Care Managers have over 100 years of combined experience.
