    Practical Assisted Living Structures are adaptable, self-contained modular units designed and developed by the Practical Assisted Living Structures LLC. Practical Assisted Living Structures are equipped with special needs facilities to enable the elderly and physically impaired the ability to live at home and are a cost effective alternative to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Their flexible design allows for long term living solutions or short term rehabilitation needs, and blend with existing homes for a seamless exterior appearance.

    The PALS patent pending model is a unique solution with designs that are flexible to meet your personal needs. Some standard features and benefits include:
    • Units approximately measure 14'x24' with first floor access to your home.
    • Each PALS unit comes equipped with handicap accessible bathrooms.
    • All units are energy efficient with self contained heating & cooling systems.
    • Units are typically installed in one week and can be removed when needed.

    Experience And Credentials
    Marketing and Project Planning

    Henry Racki Jr. CAPS MBA –Henry brings over 30 years of construction marketing, planning and management experience to the Company. He has been involved in the design and development of computer-aided estimating and management systems. As a developer, a Project Coordinator with HBE Bank Facilities., a Vice President of Financial Concept Inc., and as President of Atlantic Coast Construction, Inc., he has been involved with the marketing and management of projects from single family homes to complex financial operations centers. He has been a leader in the development and marketing of the PALS™ product. Henry holds both an undergraduate degree and MBA form the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Age-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and is Certified by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the NAHB Research Center and AARP as a CAPS Instructor.

    Director of Design Services

    Priscilla C. Racki, ASID, CAPS –Priscilla is a licensed Interior Designer and Certified Age-in-Place Specialist with over 30 years experience in facilities planning, modification and interior design. Her work includes both commercial and residential projects. She is the lead designer in the development of the Practical Assisted Living Structures™.Priscilla holds a BFA in Interior Design from Syracuse University.

    Director of Sales and Marketing

    F “ Gibbs” Nance, Jr. -Gibbs bring over 30 years of consumer product marketing and sales experience in the Real Estate and Health Care industries to the Company. He has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Mortgage broker in the State of Texas and has operated his own Homecare Agency. Mr. Nance’s clients include Keller Williams International and The Veteran’s Administration. Mr. Nance has completed the NAR GRI Real Estate Courses 1-3 and holds a degree from the University of Houston.

    Director Resource Development and Government Liaison

    John P. Ruocco – John brings over 30 years experience in government-sponsored healthcare programs. . John holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and has attended numerous management and technical programs including programs sponsored by Ohio State University and by the Yale School of Organization and Management.

    Construction Services

    Henry C. Racki III (Tray) – Responsible for field operations, project estimation and planning. Tray has been involved in the construction field since 1988. Starting with the family construction business as an on-site worker, Tray developed his carpentry skills and learned the overall business from the ground up. Over the last 15 years he has been directly involved in and responsible for estimating and planning construction projects ranging from the building, renovation and modification of single family homes to the construction of large condominium projects. Tray has also been involved in the design, development construction and Installation of PALS™ systems having help shape the product and installation systems. Tray holds a BS degree from Roger Williams University in Bristol RI.

    Elliot M. Gonzalez- Responsible for field operations and construction management, renovation, modification and home improvement projects. Elliot founded Gonzalez Construction LLC in 2002 as a home improvement company specializing in roofing, siding and replacement windows. That Company has grown to a full service contractor, renovator and builder of modular buildings. Elliott started his construction career as a carpenter, and equipment operator after graduating from Horace C. Wilcox Tech with a specialty in carpentry. Since joining the Rockfall Company, he has been directly involved in and responsible for the planning and management of new construction, renovation, adaption and development projects. He has been involved in the PALS product since the idea first developed and had overseen a number of PALS™ installations.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
    A basic 14'x20' PALS unit will cost $58,000 plus $7,000-$10,000 for installation.
