    About My Business
Kindred at Home is the nation’s leading provider of home health care, with services ranging from personal non-medical home care assistance, to skilled medical and hospice care. This provides you with a superior level of complete care management that is unavailable from companies with limited categories of care or franchise-based services. We love what we do because we see, every day, how we make a positive difference in people’s lives. You receive support when you need it, with personalized, attentive care that helps you live independently. If you or a loved one is struggling with prolonged illness, recovery from surgery, physical or developmental disabilities or simply the challenges of aging, our home care services assist with personal care and daily living necessities. When skilled nursing or rehabilitation therapy is needed, our Medicare-licensed home health division, the largest in the country, is quickly responsive, and is a preferred resource for local hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
    About My Services
Personal home care assistance begins with highly trained caregivers, fully bonded, insured and carefully matched to your requirements and preferences. Services include medication reminders, shopping and meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation, and relief for family caregivers. Home health services offer the highest standards of in-home medical care in skilled nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Hospice and palliative care services provide pain management and psychosocial support through chronic and terminal illnesses.
    Experience And Credentials
Caregivers in our personal home care assistance division have been trained on a variety of topics including nutrition, home and fire safety, communication skills, safe transfer methods, bathing and personal care techniques, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and identification of changes in a client’s physical and mental condition. In our home health and hospice divisions, we go through a rigorous screening process on all potential employees and only hire top clinicians with appropriate professional credentials.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
Personal home care assistance is covered by Long Term Care Insurance, VA Benefits, and private pay. Home health and hospice accept Medicare when the patient is home bound and the services have been prescribed by a physician.
