    About My Business
    Visiting Angels of Ponca City provides non-medical homecare to seniors, the convalescing, disabled and to those who are merely frail and in need of occasional help.

    Our "Angels" help make it possible for seniors to "age with the dignity of staying in their home"… safely and comfortably. Visiting Angels' services also allow families to spend more mutually satisfying time with loved ones and provide peace of mind to those who face the challenges of long-distance caregiving.

    Experience And Credentials
    You are in charge of everything. Visiting Angels will not dictate to you what your schedule is to be (i.e. what time to get up, when to bathe, meal schedules etc.). It is our job to adjust to your schedule and to see to it that you remain comfortable in your own home. Visiting Angels - senior home care at its best!

    Per the Oklahoma Home Care Act 2012, Visiting Angels of NorthCentral Oklahoma (license # 8009) has met the requirements set forth by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

    Per IRS statute, Caregivers nationwide cannot be Independent Contractors. In late 2014, the ACA assigned auditors to find / fine violators. IRS states that Caregivers must be paid and managed as Employees.

    Visiting Angels employees it’s Caregivers. State, Federal and Local taxes are deducted from the caregivers’ checks per applicable employer laws and mandates.

    Visiting Angels caregivers are bonded, insured and covered by Worker’s Compensation.

    Visiting Angels performs nation-wide background checks on all prospective employees. OK-SCREEN automatically updates us when/if a negative report occurs on an employee’s record.

    Visiting Angels performs drug testing on all prospective employees and random drug testing during employment. All records are documented in company records.

    Visiting Angels caregivers complete continuing education designed by prominent homecare organizations on a monthly basis. This ongoing education is focused on specific Senior needs such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, diabetes, heart disease, dehydration, skin care, lifting and pain management.

    Visiting Angels caregivers begin as state licensed CNAs and become state licensed Home Health Aides, both listed on the State's nurse aide registry.

    Visiting Angels has a “Contract for Services’, we only require 24-hour notice to cancel.

    With 4 hour or more assignments, we will keep the caregivers consistent with consistent backups when needed. We want our clients to trust us and feel comfortable in their own home.

    Visiting Angels makes random onsite visits to supervise our caregivers.

    Visiting Angels answers calls 24/7 and provides care when the need arises.

    Visiting Angels reassesses patient care needs at least every 6 months and more often as health or requests require.
    Fees And Payment Sources Accepted
    We are licensed by the State of Oklahoma (HC 8009) as a non-medical services agency. Therefore we cannot be certified Medicare or Medicaid.

    We are Private Pay. however you can be reimbursed by your Long term Care Insurance and VA Benefits.
