    About My Business
    I help older adults and their adult children navigate the challenges of aging including: Evaluating and recommending researched improvements in their living environment and/or care providers; attending meetings with doctors, lawyers, etc and advocating for older adults in these meetings; visit elders to ensure their environment encourages maximum "capable independence"; offer spiritual encouragement regardless of religious orientation; help them create their life story;support physical and emotional transitions for both elders and their loved ones.

    Evaluate and provide recommendations for "best" environment
    Visit the elder's home, perform a home safety inspection, offer tips for improving their environment
    Interview existing or new care providers to insure a "fit" in needs and personality
    Meet with assisted care/memory care/adult foster care facilities to find the right match for an elder who is relocating
    Visit elders at home or in a facility weekly (or less or more as appropriate) advocating for improvements, assessing comfort, happiness, purpposeful living
    Meeting with family members and elders coaching them and offer ideas on aging scenarios
    Attend doctor, lawyer, financial advisor meetings insuring information is understood and appropriate. Advocating for elders in these situations
    Contacting church members and other social contacts to encourage outreach to elders

    Master's in Gerontology from Marylhurst University
    BA in Communications
    National Association Geriatric Care Managers (NAPCGM)
    Society of Certified Senior Advisors (CSA)
    Certified as Guided Autobiographer (GAB)
