    About My Business
Senior Living Options of the Desert, Inc. provides a highly personalized assisted living referral service for seniors and their families.
    About My Services
Senior Living Options of the Desert was established in 2005 for the purpose of helping families make the best residential care choice for their loved one. This is done by providing families necessary tools to help them make informed decisions based on needs, budget and desired location.

Once an individual’s care needs, budget and desired location has been established; Senior Living Options of the Desert will arrange tours of those facilities which best match the criteria and then accompany family members to make sure the right questions get asked AND answered as well as to provide assistance in negotiating costs.

Senior Living Options of the Desert will also assist the individual to secure any additional monetary resources they may be eligible for to increase their expendable care budget…And will assist in processing the necessary documents.

With nearly 30 years of experience and involvement in the eldercare industry Susan and Rick Peterson, as the founders of Senior Living Options of the Desert, have recognized the need for a higher level of excellence in addressing the complexities involving senior care choices.

With extensive involvement in industry wide organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and the California Assisted Living Association coupled with the hands on experience developed through Susan’s successful ownership and operation of seven eldercare residences in Orange County, they have a proven and successful track record in the senior care placement.

They enjoy a stellar reputation of quality service and integrity in the community and have become the premier referral source in the Coachella Valley and High Desert.
    Experience And Credentials
Susan and Rick serve on many local boards and committees.

He also serves as Chair of the Consumer Advisory Council for Heritage California ACO and as Walk Chair for the Coachella Valley chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and is the regional volunteer representative to the annual Alzheimer's Association Leadership Summit.

Regional Director, Leann Dale has worked closely with the Alzheimer’s Association, Desert Oasis Health Care and many community based groups and has been very instrumental in assisting seniors to find safe, viable living options based on physical, mental & financial needs. She works closely with families to help determine the best choice for each individual situation.
