    About My Services
Following are the types of care that Comfort Keepers provides:
    • Personal Care. While addressing the physical needs of seniors, these services go more than skin deep. In fact, they boost seniors’ self-esteem and dignity. These services include help with bathing or showering, grooming, feeding and dietary management, medication reminders, help with mobility, toileting and incontinence care and safe transfers from bed, chairs and wheelchair.
    • Companionship Care. This is where Comfort Keepers’ special brand of senior caregiving – Interactive Caregiving™ – truly shines. As they provide seniors invigorating company and conversation, Comfort Keepers help with household tasks and involve their clients in the activity to help keep them engaged and energized in life. These tasks include light housekeeping and laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, dressing and grooming assistance, live-in services, 24-hour care, respite care, errands and transportation to the doctor’s office, shopping and social destinations of the client’s choosing. Comfort Keepers also participate with their clients in physical, mental and social activities.
    • SafetyChoice Technology Solutions. These are electronic devices that Comfort Keepers monitors 24/7 to supplement personal caregiving for the safety and well-being of seniors when they are home alone. SafetyChoice devices include a Personal Emergency Response System, which allows seniors to summon help with the push of a button in the event of an in-home emergency, an around-the-clock emergency monitoring station, and a medication management system that organizes medications and reminds seniors to take it as prescribed for optimum health benefits.
    • Post-Hospital Care and Support. Comfort Keepers promote clients’ recuperation by providing in-home care services following a stay in the hospital for surgery or treatment of an injury or illness.
    • Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care. Comfort Keepers, who have completed special training, help family members assure the at-home safety and well-being of a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Learn more about our dementia care services.
