    FirstLight HomeCare provides quality, affordable, non-medical in-home care for seniors, mothers just home from the hospital, those recovering from surgery and other clients with need for companionship or personal care. We can serve your loved one for several hours a week up to full-time, live-in situations.

    FirstLight HomeCare is staffed by people who have "been there" and who understand the challenges families face when caring for loved ones across town, or across the country.
    Every FirstLight HomeCare caregiver is a direct employee (not a contractor), state licensed where required, thoroughly screened and background checked, and must pass through our rigorous care training, including complete training in client health data privacy issues.

    (Subject to change – effective January, 2013)

    Free Assessments

    Companionship Care $19 per hour
    ($3 surcharge for couple assistance)
    Personal Care $21 per hour ($6 surcharge for couple assistance)
    Rates are subject to a 3-hour minimum per day
    “As Needed” appointments subject to a 3-hour minimum
    Over 12 hours per day or Veteran- Companion and Personal Care rates drop to $18 and $20

    Bath Visit $27 per visit
    Live-In Care $294 per day
    Mileage $.90 per mile
    no charge for commute

    Caregivers are paid a premium for working certain holidays. Such hours/days are billed at overtime rates. Holidays are:
    New Year’s Eve & Day, Independence Day, Christmas Eve & Day, Easter, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving
