    About My Business
Hammond Law, LLC is a boutique Maryland elder law firm focusing exclusively on long-term care and estate planning, guardianship, trust administration and probate. We assist clients and their families in navigating public benefits eligibility, while implementing sound asset protection strategies to preserve clients’ resources to the greatest extent possible.

Hammond Law is dedicated to compassionate advocacy for the aging and disabled, and is founded on the principle that comprehensive planning protects families, futures and legacies.
    About My Services
We focus primarily on Medicaid planning, from asset protection through application, but also do a considerable amount of basic estate planning and probate work.

With regard to Medicaid planning, we utilize strategies from gifting and Medicaid-compliant annuities to special needs trusts and re-titling real property in order to work within the rules to preserve our clients' resources.
Conditions I Am Unable To Treat
Despite our office location on the first floor, we are in an historic building on Main Street, Sykesville. There are two small steps off the sidewalk into the front door of the building.

If for any reason our location is not convenient for you or your family, we are happy to travel to your home, nursing home, hospital room, or other location to accommodate your needs. There is no fee for travel time.
