A brief overview of your business
Visiting Angels Hillsborough is part of a national organization of over 450 locations. Our office is a family owned and operated business that takes a very personal interest in our clients. Our caregivers go through a three-step hiring process that consists of an initial phone interview, a face to face interview with our HR Manager and finally a skills and competency assessment with our Director of Nursing. We perform extensive background checks on all employees, including local, state and federal criminal checks and a motor vehicle history report. All previous employers are contacted for detailed professional references. We feel we have to know exactly who our employees are before we place them in our client's homes. The services our caregivers perform include transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, medication reminders, laundry and meal preparation. In terms of personal care we assist with hygiene, bathing, dressing, etc. We like to think of our caregivers as an extension of your family. We provide care on an hourly basis as well as 24/7 live in services. We have an hourly minimum of 4 hours a shift, three days a week but we do pride ourselves on being flexible for our clients. All cases start with an in home assessment with our Director of Nursing to determine the level of care needed and to meet everyone so we can match up the best caregiver possible. All cases are monitored by our Director of Nursing and Nurse Supervisors to ensure proper compliance with our plan of care.
