    About My Services
Garland Law Offices, P.A. deal with legal issues involving:

Estate Planning, Wills, and Trusts: Tools that allow you to pass assets to beneficiaries, to provide for easier management of assets during incapacity, to protect your entitlements to public benefits, and for effective tax planning.

Powers of Attorney and Advance Directives: Documents that enable financial or medical decisions to be made if and when your loved one is incapacitated.

Planning for Incapacity and Loss of Functional Capacity: Nothing is more important than being able to find, get, and pay for good long-term care.

Public Benefit Planning: Review of all potential payment sources for long-term care and the planning that goes with them. This includes Medicare, VA, Medicaid, disability, and even county resources.

Asset Preservation: Strategies for using income and assets in the most effective manner; thereby achieving the best quality of care regardless of the setting, financial independence for the well spouse, and the potential of leaving and inheritance.

Guardianship/Conservatorship: The appointment of a person to make decisions when a loved one becomes incompetent and has done no advance planning. This is a court process.

Probate or Administration: Disposition of assets upon the death of a loved one. This is a process for people with wills or without wills.

Life Care Planning: The firm employs an Elder Care Coordinator who works hand in the hand with the attorney to address current and future needs of a loved one. The process incorporates legal planning techniques along with the ongoing evaluation and monitoring of physical, psychological, and financial needs.
