    About My Business
    Our mission is to provide excellent in home care services to individuals needing assistance with daily
    living activities. The purpose of these services is to allow individuals to remain in their home environment and to continue to function with the greatest independence possible.
    About My Services
    Elder Care of North Alabama, LLC became an organization on January 1, 2005. The original office was located on 5th Avenue in Decatur. Our organization has had tremendous growth since its inception. This growth is due to its excellent reputation and services. Elder Care of North Alabama now has offices in Huntsville and Cullman and has moved to a new location in Decatur located on Beltline Road.

    Initially, we assess the client’s needs and develop an individualized plan of care. We introduce the home
    care aide (HCA) that will provide these needed services to the client. These health and home care needs are documented and monitored.

    Listed below are a variety of services that Elder Care of North Alabama LLC cant provide. We understand clients needs change, the list of services provided can be expanded or contracted to include those services that best suit changing interests, activities and needs with no contract.

    •Assistance with Elderly, Special Needs Children & Adults
    •Alzheimer’s and dementia care
    •Respite care
    •Personal Care services
    •Home helper services
    •Companionship services
    •Incidental transportation

    In service training is mandatory and is conducted three times a year for a period of six hours each. A six hour orientation training is provided for every HCA.

    All of our HCA’s must meet the following qualifications:
    Must possess a valid driver’s license, must have their own transportation, be able to lift 50 pounds and assist clients with ambulating, submit to a drug screen, background check, nurse aide registry check, sex offender check, and TB skin test. Previous experience caring for the elderly or disabled persons is preferred.

    Elder Care of North Alabama, LLC currently contracts with the following government Medicaid agencies:
    M4A, TARCOG, SAIL, and Alabama Cares Program.
    We proudly provide services to our Veterans through programs with the Veterans Administration. Elder Care
    also accepts Private Pay, and most Long Term Care insurance companies, such as Prudential, Met Life,
    Ameriprise Financial, New York Life and many others.
