Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.

Because of the rapid spread of the delta variant of COVID-19, the Alzheimer’s Association is following new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to wear a mask in public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status.

  • Everyone attending an Association program or event indoors must wear a mask and social distance. We ask participants to provide their own masks or hand sanitizer.

  • Our volunteers and staff who deliver in-person programs are all fully vaccinated.
