The purpose of early-stage support groups is to provide a safe and supportive environment of peers who are living in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and the care partners. These groups offer dementia-related education, emotional support and connections with resources so that the group members may enhance their lives in the midst of the disease.
This group is a group for individuals that have recently been diagnosed or are living in the early stages of dementia. These groups allow a safe environment for individuals living with a diagnosis to develop a support system with other people. A pre-assessment is required prior to attending our group.
Pre-registration is required. Please call the Harry L. Nelson Helpline for more information: (800) 272-3900.
